Uruguay day tres- Medio y Medio

While a lot of our friends were starving and settled to eat at "California Burrito Cafe", I was so not ready to eat fast food mexican food so me and Robert decided to explore the city to find food. We explored  and happened upon the Mercado del Puerto. It was an inside market that had tons of different parillas- meat cooking restaurants. It was very much a uruguayan place to be. We could not choose which of the many steak houses to eat at and we settled on a place that gave us free "Medio y Medio" the "El medio y medio es un vino de corte producido a partir de la mezcla de vino espumoso dulce y vino blanco seco. ". It is famous to uruguay is half white wine and half parkling wine and is so sweet and delicious! To say it was my favorite drink would be an understatement. Throughout the course of the day I was determined to only drink Medio y Medio like a true Uruguayan would and may or may not have had two bottles to myself....
