Mom and Dad meet mom and sister!

In the morning I guess it was a blessing in disguise I woke up not feeling well at all so called the doctor to get a doctors note and skipped class. Instead I got to spend the entire day with my parents! We ate a gross lunch(canned veggies and lunch box white bread sandwich) at a cool outside restaurant called La Briega right next to the Recoleta cemetery.

We then went on a tour of the major sites in Buenos Aires led by Daniel. We saw San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo, puerto Madero, La Boca, and Retiro. I enjoyed seeing all of these for a second time and now that I have some more historical background it was even more interesting! I also loved doing it with my parents especially hearing my dads commentary (because obviously everything your dad says is right). I was just soo happy to e able to spend an entire day with my parents!

My parents got to meet my home stay mom and sister! Before dinner my parents came over to have wine and appetizers at our house and meet everyone. It was so funny watching my dad interact with my home stay sister Sofia and he definitely crossed the line a few times as he decided it was his job to teach her what kind of alcohol to drink...
Dad loves the appetizers- Cheese and salami

For dinner we went to Fervor one of my home stay moms favorite restaurants and now mine too! It was an amazing seafood restaurant. It was Gioia's idea to order the seafood taster and it was actually incredible! Best meal by far I have had in BA. Then we had amazing dulce de leche ice cream and a dulce de leche pancake. What a meal!

After dinner we quickly packed and fell asleep to get ready for our early flight to Patagonia the following morning!
